These Brazil nuts are the perfect example of how natural rainforest can be used without cutting down wood. In order to include the lowland rainforest of Peru and its inhabitants in our projects and to expand our product range, we have now started a SPECIAL OFFER with organic Brazil nuts from wild collection . These come from the vicinity of Puerto Maldonado from the Tambopata National Park. Brazil nut trees are naturally growing jungle giants that thrive and fruit only in pristine forests. Thus, each Brazil nut protects primary rainforest. The nuts are collected by hand by the local population and opened, sorted and packed in the women’s project CANDELA. We trade the Brazil nuts directly with the cooperative, have just received these precious nuts freshly harvested and now offer them in 250g bags:
